The Phoenix Bird and how it Relates to the Phoenix Business Cycle

You may be wondering how the Phoenix Business Cycle came about. The name for it came from the Phoenix bird in Greek Mythology. This bird is a mythical creature that does not die. It always flies in the front, forever looking off into the horizon for new potential and insight into the world around it. In our opinion, this bird is a representation of the common phases in a business cycle. It represents a business owner’s capacity for vision and strength, as well as for collecting all necessary sensory information about the environment, competition, client needs, and general things happening in the marketplace around them. The Phoenix is a constant symbol of inspiration, as is a business leader when they have the freedom of flight.

As the Phoenix goes about leading its life, there comes a time when it will build a nest and then set the nest and itself on fire. In comparison, how many times has a business owner needed to step back and look at what they were doing before completely start over? As the Phoenix builds the nest he is excited to shed his last phase, and be reborn with the possibility of a fresh start. So, from the ashes arises a new and better leader, free from all bonds so that he is able to inspire and lead others who are not able to embrace change on their own.

Phoenix Business Cycle

The Phoenix Business Cycle was created to reignite your fire and passion. We have assisted thousands of clients in finding their inner fire. During this time, we have found there are many occasions in business where owners may feel as though they are lagging behind the competition or losing complete control of their abilities to run a successful business. This is mainly due to all the non-industry specific tasks that need to be done to dominate their marketplace. So, of course, natural instinct is to try to take on too much at once and start doing things themselves like marketing, design, and other critical tasks. This can end up making the owner feel frustrated and overwhelmed; ultimately losing that spark of passion they once had for their business. We call this the Blue DIY phase.

Then there is the point when a business owner sees that they are costing their company too much money learning things outside of their expertise, so they decide to hire professionals to do these things for them such as SEO, SMO, content writing, design, etc. This is a great idea until they realize they are in what we call the Shift phase, where the business owner ends up spending all of their time managing multiple vendor chaos. This puts business owners right back in the same boat as the Blue DIY phase.

With the Phoenix Business Cycle, we partner with you, giving you one point of contact to manage between 6-9 different critical departments. We help take the weight off your shoulders so you can take off soaring again. This is the stage we want to get you to; we call this the Red stage. The color represents your fire and passion for a new start and stronger direction, with a team of over 300 people behind you.
